About Me

I am a wife of 50 years, a mother, and a grandmother.  I am a follower of Jesus who tries to honor Christ in all of my actions and thoughts. I fail many times, but I am forgiven, none the less.

I have always loved making crafts with my kids and grandkids.  Several years ago, I finally started taking some of my crafts to different craft sales, so this website was a natural extension of that experience.  I have also very much enjoyed making up, and telling my children and grandchildren stories.  So, last year I decided to publish one of the stories that I had written.  It is called “The Little Tree That Grew With Grace”, and is available through this website, as well as at FriesenPress, Amazon, Trust God NowHulls Family Bookstore, and other book sellers.

About Crafty Gramma

I have crafts ranging from alcohol-inked vases, candle holders, and ceramic tile items to crocheted dishclothes and stuffies, to  coasters, hot pads, and placemats.  I even have my first published children’s book – “The Little Tree that Grew with Grace”.  There may be a few surprises that I will be introducing as well.  For this website, I will concentrate on sewn items, the children’s book, the sewing clips, and other things as they become available.  The reason for this is that shipping is so expensive, other than in a relatively flat envelope that can fit the sewn items that I am concentrating on.  If you are in southern Manitoba, contact me, and I can show you some of the other items.  The alcohol inked items have been selling at some of the craft shows that I have attended, but I would not trust those items to ship safely.

Keep checking back, as new items will be added as I complete them. If you have suggestions or ideas for new products, please don’t hesitate to send me an email.

My products are available either direct from me, or at the Only Local store in the Altona Mall.
